Bloody Butcher is an heirloom dent corn known for its deep red kernels that can range from burgundy to almost black. Plants typically grow tall and sturdy, often reaching 10–12 feet. Ears average 8–10 inches and are great for grinding into cornmeal, roasting when young, or using decoratively once dried.
