The Pinwheel Marigold is a cheerful French marigold variety (Tagetes patula) named for its unique, bicolor blooms that resemble spinning pinwheels. Each flower displays bright golden-yellow petals boldly splashed with rich mahogany-red, creating a lively, eye-catching contrast. Plants are compact and bushy, reaching about 10–12 inches tall, and produce a continuous flush of 2-inch blossoms from summer through frost.
Easy to grow and low-maintenance, Pinwheel Marigolds thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Their bright, long-lasting blooms add vibrant color to borders, beds, and containers, while their natural pest-repelling qualities make them a favorite companion plant in the vegetable garden.
