Pea Seeds - King Tut Purple

This is an incredibly unique Pea and one of the most prolific varieties that we have ever grown! This variety also has a very historic background with seeds said to have been found in King Tuts Tomb. It was said that these plants were grown and harvested for his afterlife. Seeds were later discovered in his tomb 5,000 years later and brought to England where they were cultivated and shared amongst friends. Though, some have denied this, the conditions of Egypt is very dry and allow seed longevity making this story quite possible. Regardless, this is a wonderful variety with beautiful flowers that produce bushels of dark purple peas that are sure to eye appeal anyone in the garden.
