The Big Mustard Momma is a massive and fiery superhot variety bred by pepper grower Troy Primo, the creator of the famous 7 Pot Primo. True to its name, this pepper produces some of the largest superhot pods, often weighing much more than typical superhots, with smooth, wrinkled skin and unique mustard-to-olive-green coloring when fully ripe.
Despite their unusual color, the flavor is bold—fruity, earthy, and slightly floral—followed by an intense, searing heatthat ranks well into the superhot category. With Scoville levels estimated to push over 1,000,000 SHU, it’s a pepper for true heat lovers and sauce makers.
