Minimum Seed Count: 10

A beautiful, and highly productive "Roma" type variety! You can get around a 5 pound bucket full of these small elongated golf ball sized fruits from one plant! Fruits are a bright red, with yellow striping all around the tomato. Plants stayed shorter in our garden, but indeterminate vines are known to get very tall, so staking is necessary. One of the thickest skinned varieties that we have seen! perfect for pastes, and tomato sauces! A great substitute for those who love "Roma" tomatoes, but want to try a new variety! Tasty, and easy to grow! Semi-Determinate variety.

🌱 Planting Guide:

📍 Location & Soil

  • Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily).

  • Soil: Rich, well-drained loam with lots of organic matter.

  • pH: 6.2–6.8 is ideal.

  • Preparation: Work in compost or aged manure before planting for strong growth.

🌡️ Sowing & Transplanting

  • Indoors: Start seeds 6–8 weeks before your last frost date.

  • Depth: Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in seed-starting mix.

  • Germination: 7–10 days at 70–80°F.

  • Hardening off: Acclimate seedlings outdoors for 7–10 days before transplanting.

  • Transplanting: After danger of frost, when soil temps are above 60°F.

📏 Spacing & Support

  • Spacing: 24–36 inches apart in rows 3 feet apart.

  • Support: Use stakes, cages, or trellises — this variety is indeterminate and benefits from vertical support.

💧 Water & Feeding

  • Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, watering deeply 1–2 times per week. Avoid overhead watering to reduce disease risk.

  • Mulch: Apply straw, compost, or shredded leaves to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced tomato fertilizer (5-10-10 or similar) at transplant, then every 3–4 weeks.

✂️ Care & Maintenance

  • Pruning: DON’T Pinch off suckers. This variety does fine without pruning.

  • Airflow: Space plants well and prune lower leaves to prevent fungal disease.
